Hoboken Shelter Announces 7th Annual Auction

The Hoboken Shelter will be holding its 7th Annual Auction at Teak On The Hudson, on Tuesday, December 7, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Admission is a minimum $25.00 donation, and includes ½ price drink specials and complimentary appetizers.  Event organizer, Todd Kinney remarked, “The auction is such a great way to celebrate our donors, individuals, vendors and local businesses that make our work truly a community partnership to end homelessness one person at a time.”  Mr. Kinney and the shelter’s event committee have a goal of raising $20,000.00. All proceeds from the evening benefit The Hoboken Shelter and the services they provide to people in the community who are experiencing hunger and homelessness.  Businesses and individuals that would like to donate auction items may contact Todd Kinney, at 201-323-0795 or email todd.kinney@nullyahoo.com.

TEAK poster - 2010 jpeg (2)The auction items are this event’s true attraction, some of which include: W Hoboken gift certificate, Barclays 2011 golf tournament tickets at the Plainfield County Club, design items by Nancy Green, Outside the Box gift baskets, and much more. Jaclyn Cherubini, Executive Director of The Hoboken Shelter, says, “With the holidays approaching, we are seeing more families come in to eat.
