Hudson Ballet, The Nutcracker, December 17, 3:00pm

While Visions of Sugarplums danced in their heads......

Hudson Ballet's sparkling production of the enduring classic "The Nutcracker" will usher in the holiday season at the Hoboken High school. Choreographed by Bethany Marc-Aurele, this production is set in the turn of the 18th century and is filled with 50 dancers, stunning props and elaborate costumes. With scores of children, mice and soldiers this spectacular achievement offers a perfect compliment to Tchaikovsky's glorious musical score.

See leaping candy canes, toy soldiers, and the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy as a young child's holiday dream comes to life before your eyes.

"The Nutcracker" will open Saturday, December 17th at 3:00pm at the Hoboken High School in Hoboken NJ.

A reception will take place at 1:30pm and will include a silent auction, bake sale and light refreshments. All proceeds will be donated to the Hudson Outreach Program.
HOP for Dance is an outreach program that uses dance to focus on educating, engaging, and inspiring young adults and children of the surrounding communities, schools, and various organizations that otherwise would not have the means of ability to join a typical dance program.

We hope to see many Hoboken and Jersey City families there.
