The Hoboken All Stars Travel Soccer Program will be holding tryouts on Saturday, May 18th from 9AM-Noon at the Hoboken High School’s JFK Stadium.
The Hoboken All Stars travel program is for players who are interested in playing soccer at a more competitive level than the City’s Recreation program. Travel teams play in the fall and spring against teams from northern New Jersey and Rockland County and in addition, many teams also participate in “holiday” or “off season” tournaments several times a season. Travel players practice a minimum of two days a week and compete on weekends, in the Fall they also play on the City’s various Recreational Teams. Selection to a team invokes a commitment on the part of the player to attend all practices and games and to participate in both the fall and spring seasons.
All players, current and prospective, who are interested in playing travel soccer in the 2013-2014 seasons, are invited. Parents of prospective new players email Hobokenallstars@nullgmail.com with their player’s name, birthdate and parent contact information (cell/email). Current Travel Team players do not have to pre-register.
The schedule is as follows:
8:30-9 AM Registration: U7 girls and boys (August 1,2006-July 31, 2007)
9-10 AM U7 Boys and Girls tryout
9:30-10 AM Registration: U8 Boys and Girls (August 1, 2005- July 31, 2006)
10-11 AM U8 Boys and Grls tryout
10:30-11 AM Registration U9 Boys and Girls (August 1, 2004- July 31,2005)
11-12 PM U9 Boys and Girls tryout
All potential new players should bring a copy of their birth certificate to the tryout.
