Fun On A String
Kids and their families will enjoy this puppet and marionette variety show on December 5th at 2:00pm. This program is sponsored by the friends of the Hoboken Public Library.
Reading Dogs
On December 16th at 3:15, children in Kindergarten-2nd grade can practice their reading with patient loving therapy dogs and their trainers. Call 201-420-2348 to RSVP. Now a monthly event.

Resume Workshop – On December 1st at 5:30 pm, learn the basics of crafting a resume as well as tips on how to make your resume more competitive. Book Discussion
This month we will discuss Best Friends Forever, Jennifer Weiner’s latest novel. Two high school friends reconnect at their reunion. This is the perfect opportunity to meet others in town and share thoughts about a great book. The book discussion will take place on December 9th. There will be two discussion sessions: 2:00 pm & 6:30 pm.
Think Like An Entrepreneur
On December 15th at 6:00 pm, learn to think like an entrepreneur. Whether you are at the beginning, middle, or at the tipping point of your business , you’ll be able to take advantage of our presenters’ step-by-step strategies for success. Presenters include J. Doctor Zhivago
On Tuesday, December 22nd at 2:00 pm, on the 3rd floor there will be a viewing of Doctor Zhivago, a thrilling tale based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize winning author Boris Paternak. The film which won five Academy Awards, chronicles the life and loves of Yuri Zhivago, a doctor and poet during the Russian Revolution. The library now has a new projector and speakers for a cinematic viewing experience. Refreshments will be served.
