Trial yoga classes for children on the autism spectrum and parent/caregiver will be held in Downtown Hoboken this Fall. Why yoga?

Batia Zumwalt, MA, CFDM, works as a Behavior Consultant for children in home and school settings. Her specialty is creating protocols for managing behaviors based on parental concerns or IEP goals. She has a private practice for intensive discrete trial learning and for family mediation. She is a certified yoga teacher.
Julie Pasqual is a 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher who has worked at homeless and battered women's shelters. Through her work as a professional storyteller, and a performer in hospitals for the Big Apple Circus Clown Care program she has worked with children of all ages and all abilities.
David Kessler, certified yoga teacher and certified yoga teacher for children with handicaps and disabilities. His involvement in the Best Buddies mentoring program has been a catalyst to infuse his enthusiasm for helping the special needs population with his passion for yoga and the mind/body connection.
All three are registered with the Yoga Alliance.
Suggested donation of $10 all proceeds will go to Autism Speaks.
