Who says children can’t have fun learning science and math? That is where Beyond Basic Learning: The International School not only creates a sense of wonder and excitement to learn but also inspires children to engage in stimulating and fun activities to introduce children to science and math concepts.
• Science Exploration – How wonderful it will be to mix your own blend of scents to make perfumes, soaps, and lotions. Did you ever wonder how to create art using magnets? During your session, you will have the opportunity to become your own scientist.
• Math Exploration – How do you measure using teaspoons instead of cups? How long do you think it will take for the bread to rise? How many steps will it take to create the perfect muffin? Whether is in art or through culinary experiences, math is everywhere we look. Discover your own pattern.
Program Enrollment: Winter Scholar Program is for children from 3.6 to 6 years of age. Each session is 1.5 hours long: 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 10:30 to 12 p.m. For those children who will like to have two sessions, snacks will be provided.
