United Synagogue of Hoboken's Star of Israel to be Re-dedicated
Hoboken’s Jewish community will rededicate the historic Star of Israel synagogue during Chanukah, the holiday that commemorates the re-dedication of the Second Temple in ancient Jerusalem. The re-dedication will take place at the United Synagogue of Hoboken, 115 Park Ave., Hoboken, on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at 4 p.m. A menorah candle lighting and presentations about the synagogue’s story will highlight the ceremony.
