The Hoboken Family Alliance (HFA) would like to thank the community for helping our local families in need this holiday season. What an amazing neighborhood with much generosity!
We are very grateful for the support and dedication of our community partners - Apple Montessori, Big Fun Toys, Diamond Gymnastics, Little City Books, New York Sports Club North, Pilsener Haus & Biergarten and Tiger Schulmann's Mixed Martial Arts. Through everyone’s support, we were able to provide hundreds of toys and pajamas to children who would not have received gifts otherwise.
Of special note:
- Kathleen & Victor at Big Fun Toys were integral in promoting and partnering with HFA for the 5th Annual Big Fun/ HFA Toy Drive Kickoff Party and continued the Drive throughout the holiday season.
- Jet.com ran another corporate Toy & Pajama drive - we were overwhelmed by the generosity of your team!
- Noellery Jewelry Store, who ran their "Operation Christmas" program, which supported our drive by taking a percentage of their sales and utilizing it to donate lots of beautiful jewelry and accessories for our teenage girls in need.
- Hudson School for providing many gifts and pajamas for our drive.
- Brandon Youngstrom Foundation focused on our teens in need and went on a shopping spree and donating 10 bags of toys, warm clothing and sports gear.
- We also received a very generous $1000 donation from an anonymous donor!
As part of this program, The Hoboken Family Alliance also donated $1500 each to both the Toy drive and Pajama drive. All toys and pajamas we gathered have been donated to local families, including In Jesus’ Name Charities, York Street Project and NJ Child Protection and Permanency (former know as DYFS). We would like to express our appreciation and thank each and every one in the community who have made our toy and pajama drive a success! Thanks to all of your donations, underprivileged children all over Hudson County had a wonderful holiday season!
Best wishes for a Happy & Wonderful New Year!
