15th Annual Harvest Festival Brings Food, Fun and Games for Children of All Ages!
Stevens Cooperative School invites the community to its 15th annual Harvest Festival to be held on Sunday, October 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at its Newport campus.
This community-wide event and block party offers delicious food, arts and crafts, games and activities for children of all ages. “The Harvest Festival is a wonderful tradition. It is always a pleasure to see families having a great time together,” says Joyce Doyle, Director of Development at Stevens.
“I love taking home the pumpkin I painted and eating the cupcake I decorated,” adds a 5th grade student. And a Stevens 1st grader says earnestly “My favorite thing is playing in the bouncy house. I can’t wait to do that again!” While their favorite activities may differ, both agree it is a fun afternoon they look forward to each year.
The 15th Annual Harvest Festival is free and open to the public at takes place at 100 River Drive South in Jersey City. Proceeds from games, food and activities benefit the general operating budget and financial aid program for Stevens Cooperative School.
