Reading Dogs at the Hoboken Public Library

On Wednesday, Dec 16, Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dog, Sofie, will be at the Hoboken Public Library so that children can read to her. Early readers and kids who just love to read to dogs can come to the library and choose a book from the library's collection to share with an eager dog and her patient trainer. A staff member will be in the room to monitor the children. If you are interested in scheduling a "poochy appointment" for your child, call the Children's Department at (201) 420-2348. The number of reading appointments is limited, so call early to secure your child's spot..

The Reading Dog Program is a monthly event at the Hoboken Library. Check with the Children's Department for programs appropriate for your child.
