Our Spring Open Farm Day is just around the corner on Saturday, May 23rd and you are invited! It is a great opportunity to spend the day outdoors, walk around the fields and see how some of the season's earliest crops are coming along.
There will be guided farm tours, activities for the kids, and an opportunity to learn more about our CSA program. 10:00am-3:00pm with farm tours at 11:00 and 1:00. Use 4 Penwell Road in Mansfield Township (07865) for GPS directions. We hope you can make it!
Poplar Wood Farm is a family run farm located in the Warren County, NJ town of Port Murray, where we grow vegetables, flowers, herbs and eggs with a focus on unique varieties and sustainability. Our organic growing methods rely on the use of cover cropping, compost, beneficial insects, and other environmentally conscious ways of growing our crops. Our CSA program serves Warren, Morris (Mendham and Morristown), and Hudson (Hoboken and Jersey City) counties. For 24 weeks, members in our program are entitled to a weekly assortment of fresh seasonal vegetables with the option to add eggs and/or flowers. WEDNESDAY 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. May through December.
