Focus: This Center provides food and emergency assistance to the Hoboken poor. They also offer family literacy events and support.

JERSEY CITY WIC PROGRAM

Focus: New Jersey WIC Services provides supplemental nutritious foods to pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to the age of five.
Needs/Accepts: Women's (including maternity), teen and children's clothing, bassinets, baby items - including strollers, bassinets, car seats, diapers, wipes, toys, books, etc., shoes and accessories, household items, and food is also in high demand.
How to donate: Items can be dropped off from 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Contact at 201-547-6841. Please note: WIC cannot provide a receipt for tax purposes.
ST. MARY ADVOCATES THRIFT SHOP

How to donate: Call or stop by during business hours to drop-off donations. Business hours are 10:30-2:00 on Wednesday, 12:30pm-4:30pm Thursday through Saturday.

WOMEN RISING

Focus: Assists women and their families to achieve self-sufficiency and live safe fulfilling and productive lives, through social services, economic development and advocacy services.
Needs/Accepts: New bed linens (twin size & crib size), diapers & sanitary products, comforters, pillows, shower curtains, towels, throw rugs.
How to donate: Donations can be delivered by appointment ONLY between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Please make arrangements with an agency representative by calling 201-333-5700 or via email dtierney@nullwomenrising.org. There are various departments with a multitude of needs.
