Novel Night, Volume 4, a literary dining event sponsored by the Friends of the Hoboken Public Library, takes places on Saturday evening, October 13 in the homes of 20 Hoboken hosts. All proceeds from Novel Night will benefit the Hoboken Public Library
Novel Night guests will enjoy fantastic food and drink, with each dinner menu inspired by a book selected by the host. Cuisine choices range widely and including vegetarian and kosher options. This year a number of dinners will be hosted or attended by authors, many of them Hobokenites. The evening will conclude with dessert and coffee at the Hoboken Public Library.
Novel Night has become a Hoboken tradition since its debut in 2007. Proceeds of Novel Night, Volume 4, will be used to replace the Library’s front door with an entryway more suitable to the beautiful and historic building.
Tickets are $100 per person and tax deductible as allowed by law. The deadline for dinner reservations is September 25. Details on the dinner choices and a downloadable response card are provided on the Novel Night website, at www.hobokenfol.org/novelnight.html.
Because previous events have sold out, potential guests are advised to reserve their places early.
