La Leche of Jersey City is looking for a new location for their Jersey City meetings, as they are outgrowing the cozy living rooms of their leaders. They are hoping to meet in a meeting room in one of the apartment buildings downtown (similar to the meeting room for the Hoboken meeting at 333 River St.). Do any of you live in a condo/apartment that has a meeting room, preferably with some couches? In Hoboken we now have 20 or more moms and babes come on a regular basis. It would be great to have a room that could hold that many folks here in downtown Jersey City.
Their JC morning meetings are the first Thursday of the month and Jersey City Enrichment/Toddler meetings are usually the last week of the month on Wednesday. The meeting times are 10am-11:30, but that could be flexible.
Previously the rooms have been given to them at no charge since they are a not for profit org and they are all volunteers. Please check with your buildings where you live, or where your friends live....or that you walk past...and let them know.
