Hoboken University Medical Center is giving away free health screenings at a health fair in honor of Minority and Multi-Cultural Health Month.
On Thursday, September 23, the hospital will provide free blood pressure screenings, body fat analysis, diabetes and glucose testing, oral cancer screening, glaucoma screening, Hudson County Cancer Coalition/CEED program screenings, and NJ Family Care enrollment.
In addition to the free screenings, hospital representatives will also be on hand to distribute medical information about smoking cessation, HIV testing, new immunizations, breast feeding and infant safety, asthma and allergies, and MRIs.
The fair, including the screenings and information giveaways, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the medical center's Assumption Hall, 308 Willow Avenue in Hoboken.
