This year, the Annual Hoboken Secret Gardens Tour, on Sunday, June 3, will feature up to 10 private gardens graciously opened to visitors by Museum supporters to help raise funds for our programs. Rain date is June 10.
Every year, the tour offers a fresh selection of traditional and contemporary gardens created by professional landscape designers and dedicated gardening enthusiasts, many of whom will be on site to answer your questions.
This year, the tour is self-guided! Visit the gardens at your own pace, but be sure to allow at least 2 to 2.5 hours to visit them all. Pick up the tour booklet on the day of the tour from the Museum between 9 a.m. and when the gardens close at 4 p.m.
A map and detailed description of each garden will be included in the full-color tour book. It will also offer suggestions of local restaurants for brunch, lunch or tea! Garden owners, Hoboken Garden Club members and Museum volunteers will greet you at each of the homes. Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 on the day of the tour. (Museum members pay $25 on the day of the tour, and children under 13 may accompany parents or guardians for free.)
Tour goers can save time and money by buying a ticket in advance here: Buy Your Ticket Now, or stopping by the Museum, 1301 Hudson St., Tuesday - Thursday from 2 - 7 p.m., or Friday 1-5 pm, Saturdays & Sundays 12 - 5 p.m. Or call 201-656-2240 to reserve tickets by credit card. Your name will be added to the will-call list at the Museum.
