This Saturday, December 17, 2011, Hoboken will be graced by the presence of Santas from all over the country: young Santas, old Santas, Jolly Santas, grumpy Santas, red Santas, blue Santas and everything in between.
Starting at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at S. Sullivan's on Washington Street (or The Pilsner Haus on Grand at noon for pre-registration) men and women dressed as Santa Claus, or their favorite North Pole character, will begin drinking for charity and will work their way down to the most southern bars of Hoboken ending the evening at Green Rock and Wicked Wolf.
The afternoon will be filled with reindeer games, making the public laugh at our Santa-antics, handing out gifts and candy canes, Christmas caroling, drinking, raflles and general jolliness.
All donations and a portion of each bar's proceeds from the afternoon will benefit the Hoboken Family Alliance.
So please come by to participate (if you are 21 or older) or simply enjoy the show as we Ho-Ho-Ho down Washington Street! Check out details on Facebook - Hoboken SantaCon - or follow us on Twitter for live updates on Saturday @HoboSanta.
