The Museum will host its annual Holiday Crafts Fair this weekend,
December 17 - 18, from noon to 5 pm, inside the Museum and out in the walkway, weather permitting. Come by for jewelry, household items, knitwear, bow ties, baked goods, artwork, and more! On offer are handmade items by local artists and artisans, including the Museum's own Bill Curran, who will offer original paintings and gift cards, and Jen Place (pictured above), who makes her own glass beads for jewelry and ornaments. And don't forget our many Hoboken-themed items, such as tee shirts, mugs, magnets and books!
The Museum is keeping the tradition of Christmas Caroling in the Neighborhood alive! On Thursday, Dec. 22, at 6:30 pm, anyone interested in joining us should gather at the Museum for a quick warm-up rehearsal, and at 7 pm, we will set out on a winding route through the neighborhood, stopping to sing favorite carols at the stoops of friends. Call the Museum at 201-656-2240 if you're interested in having the group stop by (warm beverages appreciated!).
