HCT Junior Company (by invitation/audition only)
Theatrical Rights Worldwide—Young Broadway Premiere

HCT continues its relationship with TRW, one of the largest musical theater licensing houses, in developing their Young Broadway Editions. The production will be chosen based on enrollment from the following titles: Lucky Duck, Anne of Green Gables, Awesome Allie or Sleepy Hollow. Challenging harmonies, extensive choreography and a professional work ethic are introduced, making Junior Company a great training ground for the performer who wants to pursue musical theater in high school and beyond. Students will extensively rehearse for a full production.

Three Exciting New Classes!

Acting for Film, with Filmmaker Livi Newman

Over the course of twelve weeks, students will learn how to act on-camera by performing in an original, short film. Building upon their training for the stage, students will learn how to modulate their performances and block scenes for the camera. Their performance will be showcased for parents and friends with a screening of the short film at the end of the semester.

Broadway veteran Lisa Capps will teach acting technique and scene study. These classes will be very small so each student will get individual attention. Private coaching available as well.
