Curious about HFA's Cabin Fever festival? Celebrating its 14th year, Cabin Fever is the largest and only one of its kind open house for local businesses catering to kids. You will be amazed at how many options exist in our Mile Square town! Sample kids classes, activities, summer day camps. Enjoy live music and dance performances. While you check out the details and meet the instructors and camp counselors, the kids can cure their "cabin fever" with arts activities, face painting, balloons, and more.
Hours of fun will run from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, February 21st at The Brandt School (215 9th St, Hoboken). Cabin Fever, like other HFA events, is free for HFA Members and $20 per family for Non-members.
Activities will include sample craft tables from more than ten day camps from all over New Jersey and New York. They will be on hand to answer questions about attending their camps via bus service from Hoboken. Also, we will feature local kid musicians, Hoboken dance performances, face painting, balloons, spin art, arts & crafts, games, and much more. The main stage will be a revolving door of all your Hoboken music, dance and other performing arts favorites.
There will be over one hundred AMAZING raffle prizes to area restaurants and classes all over town, which were generously donated by our Hoboken community. Plenty of kid and parent friendly food available for purchase served up by Hoboken Catering. Polka Dot will emcee the entire event!
We are thrilled to announce during this year’s Annual Cabin Fever Festival, that we will be providing over $14,500 for HFA’s Community Neighbor Award Grants. We received so many grant requests this year and we are happy to have such wonderful organizations in Hoboken and the surrounding areas! We will announce the grant recipients at Cabin Fever!
