Mark your calendars for the 10th Annual Cabin Fever festival on February 4th!
Happy New Year everyone! It's hard to believe that it is 2012 already and that the holidays are over. The brisk weather is here to remind us that we are looking towards the winter months when it's freezing, gets dark at 4pm and you are constantly on the hunt for indoor activities to keep the kids occupied and happy. And we all know that happy kids = happy parents! It is for this reason that HFA began our aptly named Cabin Fever event, which aims to be both informative and fun. We are so proud that 2012 marks the 10th Annual Cabin Fever on Saturday, February 4th from 10am to 2pm at Hoboken High School.
For those who have joined us before, we'd love to see you again! For those unfamiliar with Cabin Fever, think of it as a festival with something for kids of all ages:
- Sample activities such as dance, gym, sports clinic, Valentine's Day crafts and face painting
- Learn about local camps and other summer options all in one place
- Performances throughout the morning by local favorites
- Amazing raffles for everything from semester-long classes to products, gym memberships and more!
- Tastily catered by Anthony David's
- Emceed by Polka Dot
- Note: Cost is free to HFA families and $20 per family charge to non-HFA members (waived if you enroll on-site)
MUSIC - ACTIVITIES - RAFFLES - FOOD - FUN
As our flagship annual event, we use this opportunity to connect with our members and provide an overview of HFA's event, programs and philanthropic work. This festival is also an excellent opportunity to meet other local families and HFA members. Please check the HFA website for updated information as it gets closer to the event. We are so grateful to the volunteers that help make each event organized and run smoothly - and we hope it is rewarding to you too; volunteering is a great way to get involved in your local community (which is why we all do it)!
