The Hoboken Family Alliance is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Lose the Training Wheels Bike Camp to teach children with special needs to ride a two-wheel bicycle and proud to be the featured charity at the monthly h-Mag Mixer Thursday, March 29. Join us at Carpe Diem starting at 7 pm.
The popular lifestyle magazine, h-Mag, works in conjunction with local organizations and bars and restaurants to to raise awareness and donations for local not-for-profit groups. Recent mixers have benefited local VFW and the Homeless Shelter.
HFA hosted New Jersey’s first camp last summer when nine out of ten children learned to ride with help from two pro biking staffers from Lose the Training Wheels and dozens of volunteers. This year's camp runs July 9 – July 13 at Hoboken High School.
This is the first in a series of fundraisers for the camp including the High Stakes Bowling Bonanza Friday, April 20, at Stevens Institute of Technology. If you have a child 8 or older with a disability or would like to volunteer to help with the camp please contact thoward315@nullgmail.com
