Guitar Bar is happy to announce "Rock Camp" is back for a third season. Guided by our staff of professional teachers and touring musicians, a group of 3 to 5 students of similar age (ranging from 10-17) and skills will put a rock band together.
From choosing a name, picking or writing their own songs, and rehearsing, the group will learn the inner dynamics and challenges of working together with one common goal - a live performance for family and friends at the end of the two-week session.
Included in the session, students may have the opportunity to play other instruments, as is often done in a typical band experience.
Beginning June 27, classes run on a two-week cycle, Monday through Thursday, from 11am-1pm at Guitar Bar. The performance will be on the Thursday evening of the final day of the session. This year's shows will be at Mulligan's (directly across the street from Guitar Bar on First Street), at 7pm on the designated Thursday.
Enrollment is limited, so stop in or call for availability and more information.
Price: $400. for 2-week session for students currently taking private lessons at Guitar Bar.
$500. for 2-week session for non-students
