Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs have to be some of the most interesting residents of Hoboken. For one, they live on the Yankee Ferry docked near the Shipyard Buildings uptown – and two – their eclectic styles and genuine spice for life.
This weekend, they’re having an Open Boat Tour (Saturday, May 22nd and Sunday, May 23rd from “high noon” to 9pm), where you can get guided tours of the vessel, enjoy “boat-made” “Polka Dot Pies,” and peruse some of the artwork they’ll have for sale. Definitely worth checking out for a couple hours!
But the highlight of the open boat weekend, is their revolutionary “Polka Dot Garden.”
