The French American Academy in Jersey City offers a French Immersion Summer Camp where kids will learn about vegetables, fruits, meat, cheese etc. They will learn vocabulary about shapes, color, texture and taste. Children will get familiar with the food pyramid and the importance of healthy eating. Through cooking classes children will learn how to combine ingredients, spices and herbs. Children will educate their palate and will open doors to different flavors with the opportunity to express their taste and their feelings. Children will get familiar with ”Les plaisirs de la table”, how to set a table and how to share friendly meals all in French.
This summer camp is designed to welcome Beginners and non-Beginners. Children will be place accordingly to their age and level of French.

Session 2: July 7-July 11
Session 3: July 14-July 18
Session 4: July 20-July 25
Hours: 9am-3pm
Before care: 7:30am-9am
After care: 3pm-6pm
Important: There will be no repetition of programs.
Daily activities: Language art in French, art, cooking, yoga, outdoor activities, field trips.
