Free Parenting Workshop at Mustard Seed School, Tuesday, October 13

Bestselling Author and Huffington Post “Parent Coach” Susan Stiffelman
Returns to Mustard Seed School For a Free Parenting Workshop
On Tuesday, October 13, at 7 PM, bestselling author and parenting coach Susan Stiffelman returns to Mustard Seed School for a parenting workshop that is free and open to the public. Stiffelman will explore concepts and give parents practical tools from her recent book Parenting with Presence: Practices for Raising Conscious, Confident, Caring Kids. Stiffelman believes that children can be the greatest teachers. Behaviors that push buttons — refusing to cooperate or ignoring requests — can actually help parents build awareness and shed old patterns, allowing them to raise children with enjoyment. Her work focuses on helping parents to keep cool, end power struggles, and stay calmly, lovingingly in charge. Stiffelman spoke to parents at Mustard Seed School in the fall of 2012. “Susan’s workshop was engaging and dynamic, with ideas that parents could immediately implement,” said Michele Postema, Director of Admissions and Community Relations. “I heard from many parents who asked us to bring Susan back. I’m thrilled that we’re able to do just that.” Although the workshop is free, the school asks that parents register at mustardseedschool.org to ensure that there is enough space. Mustard Seed School is located at 422 Willow Avenue, Hoboken NJ. For more information, visit the school website or contact Michele Postema at mpostema@nullmustardseedschool.org.
