Fuzzy on Family History?
Ask Granny!

The Hudson County Genealogical and Historical Society visits the Hoboken Historical Museum to lead a popular new workshop on creating your own family history called "Ask Granny" on Sunday, February 19, at 4 pm.

Bob Murgittroyd, Kathie Pontus and Dee Berry, founding members of the HCGHS, will host this free seminar to teach people how to find out more about their family members, and record the information on an ancestor chart. Everything needed to create a family tree will be provided—no computers necessary. It’s a simple and fun way to get down on paper information about one’s family. Even those who have done a family history before are invited to join in, as there’s always something new to learn.

This “Ask Granny” Seminar is a local educational outreach program funded entirely by donations and grants. Class size is limited, so please call the Museum at 201-656-2240 to make a reservation. The HCGHS is a 501(c)3 New Jersey nonprofit corporation, formed in October 2007 to promote the study of genealogy and the history of Hudson County
