CodeAdvantage Open House/Coding Fair

Coding is the new language of the future but many people don’t know exactly what it is. Computer programming is much more than sitting at a computer and writing code – it involves critical thinking, creative expression, storytelling, and quite a bit of fun. Come learn more about coding and how your child can benefit from learning technology skills especially when they are in 1^st-8^th grade.

CodeAdvantage, a local organization, will be talking about the different ways to learn coding and will demo some interactive ways to get kids excited about coding including making modifications to the hugely popular Minecraft game, using drop and drag programming to get younger kids excited about Kodu and Scratch.
