The City of Hoboken is partially opening Pier C park to the public. The promenade and lawn areas will be open, while the playground areas in the middle, which are not complete, are closed off with fencing. “I welcome everyone to come out and enjoy our newest park,” said Mayor Dawn Zimmer. “The park’s nighttime lighting is impressive, and we invite residents to take an evening stroll.”
The City received approval for the partial opening from state inspectors and the City’s insurance company. The park will be open daily from 8 am to 10 pm. For full details, go to https://local.nixle.com/alert/4033662/?sub_id=310107.
