Hoboken, New Jersey-based Cantigas Women’s Choir brings women of the extended New Jersey / New York community together through song. Founded by director Joan Isaacs Litman, we are now in our seventh season. Cantigas is committed to performing a broad spectrum of global music, both ancient and contemporary, to audiences of all ages.
In addition to concerts and special programs, Cantigas Women’s Choir regularly conducts community outreach in keeping with our mission--including performing for and with the inmates of Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, New Jersey, for the Cancer Survivors Support Network in Bayonne, New Jersey, and at the Empty Bowls hunger relief benefit in Hoboken.
