Burn Awareness Week, observed the first full week in February (Feb. 5-11, 2017), is designed to provide an opportunity for burn, fire and life safety education. This event, sponsored in part by Hoboken Family Alliance, aims to unite in sharing a common burn awareness and prevention message in our communities.

This program will teach children and families how to be responsible for their personal safety and increases family awareness of potentially harmful situations.

Featuring: Educational, fun and interactive activities, and a demonstration from a local Hoboken Firefighter on the proper procedures of Stop, Drop, and Roll.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
1:30 p.m. 2nd floor of FDM opens to public.
1:30-2:00 p.m.  Arts and Crafts.
2:00-2:30 p.m. Storytime and Songs.
2:30-3:00 p.m.  Arts and Crafts.
3:00-3:30 p.m.  Stop Drop and Roll with a HFD Firefighter!

Visit the Hoboken Fire Department Museum for a fun, family-friendly event! Special activities, and a chance to meet active duty HFD Firefighter. Activities are open 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
