14th Annual Toy, Pajama and Book Drive

The Hoboken Family Alliance is proud to announce that our 14th Annual Toy, Pajama and Book Drive for local, underprivileged children in Hoboken and Hudson County is back!  

Donate via PayPal where 100% of your donation will be used towards a tax-free purchase of toys or pajamas or drop off NEW toys, pajamas, or books for children ages newborn to 17 years old at any of our supporting locations:

  1. Big Fun Toys (602 Washington Street, Hoboken)
    • Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 6pm; Sunday & Monday from 10am – 5pm 
    • Donations accepted until December 23rd
  2. New York Sports Club North (210 14th Street, 1st Floor, Hoboken)
    • Monday – Friday from 6am - 9pm; Saturday & Sunday from 7am - 7pm
    • Donations accepted until December 21st
  3. Pilsner Haus & Biergarten (1422 Grand Street, Hoboken)
    • Monday – Friday from 3pm – 10pm; Saturday & Sunday from 11am – 10pm 
    • Donations accepted until December 21st
  4. Wicked Scents (163 2nd Street, Hoboken)
    • Monday – Saturday from 11am – 6:30pm; Sunday from 11am – 5pm
    • Donations accepted until December 23rd
  5. UFC Gym at Cast Iron Lofts (300 Coles Street, Jersey City)
    • Monday – Friday from 6am - 8pm; Saturday and Sunday from 8am - 12pm
    • Donations accepted until December 21st

Teen items are especially hot on our wish list this year, including:

  • Sports equipment (baseballs & gloves, basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, tennis racquets & balls, etc.)
  • Art supplies (colored pencils, paint brushes, sketch pads, etc.)
  • Games (board games, card games, etc.)
  • Jewelry and purses
  • Journals
  • Bath bombs, shower steamers, aromatherapy, diffusers, etc.
  • Makeup, lip balm, lotion, perfume
  • Hats, gloves, socks & scarves 
  • Gift Cards (Dunkin' Donuts, Game Stop, Shake Shack, Chipotle, Panera, McDonald's, Old Navy, H&M, Starbucks, etc.)

We’re working with amazing organizations to help with this distribution, including The Department of Children and Families’ Child Protection and Permanency Agency (formerly The Division of Youth & Family Services - DYFS), Family Promise, Hoboken Housing Authority, In Jesus’ Name Charities, Women Rising and York Street Project. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
