HoBOOken Halloween 5K volunteers needed

Race day is coming soon (OCTOBER 30th!).  We are looking for volunteers for the below jobs/times.  Please email hobooken5k@nullgmail.com and you will hear back from the Elysianette in charge of their area with more specific details for their meeting place and race day responsibilities.  Please let the Elysianettes know by next Friday the 15th if you can help out.  Thanks in advance for your help in making this a successful event!

Race Day Volunteer Opportunities:

Race Setup – 6am to 9am
- help set up course markers, registration tables, etc

Bag Check – 9am to 12p
- collect and watch checked bags and ensure bag return to correct runner

Starting Line – 9am to 11am
- help keep starting lineup organized

Water Station – 9am to 11:30am
- setup and breakdown of water station, distribution of water cups to runners

Course Marshals – 9am to 11:30am
- cheer on the runners!! and offer race support

Finish Line – 10am to 12pm
- help keep finishers moving on to water and snack areas

Post-Race Snacks – 9:30am to 12pm
-  distribute post race snacks as well as setup and breakdown

Kids Races – 10am to 12pm
-help keep lineup/finish running smoothly and cheer on the kids

Cleanup – 11am to 1pm
- breakdown of course etc

Floating Volunteers – either 7am to 11am – or – 9am to 1pm
- help out in any areas that need an extra hand on race day
