Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Discounts for HFA Members - for both Poplar Wood Farm (Organic) & Stony Hill Farm
1) Poplar Wood Farm (Organic)
Starting to think about warmer weather? Are you eager to plan your summertime events? Are you thinking of enjoying the abundance of local fresh fruits and vegetables that will return in the spring?
Spring is even closer than you think! Planning for the upcoming growing season is already very much underway – crop planning is completed and seeding in our green- house has begun.
About the CSA: Community Supported Agriculture is a mutually beneficial relationship between a farm and the community of people who receive the food the farm produces. Members commit to a full season of produce prior to the start of the growing season and in return receive a weekly share containing an assortment of fresh, nutritious vegetables. The members become a part of the farm’s local food community, develop a relationship with the farm, and learn about the origins of their food and how it is grown. The farm offers three sizes of vegetable shares and the option to add eggs each week. The season is 24 weeks long and runs from June into November.

Growing Methods: All produce is grown using organic methods that rely on the use of cover cropping, compost, beneficial insects, and
other environmentally conscious ways of crop production. We are firm believers in the value of healthy food and make no concessions when it comes to our growing methods. No chemical or synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and no GMO seed are used.
