The Hoboken City Council will be voting to approve or reject a proposed plan for Washington Street on Feb 17th, The plan would add protected bike lanes and pedestrian safety improvements like bump outs and pedestrian countdown signals. Click here to view the plan.
A special meeting will be held on Monday, February 8th at 7:30pm in the Council Chambers in City Hall to present the plan and for the public to provide their input. A fellow Hudson Bike Share member started a petition in support of the plan, though some members of the community have expressed their opposition to bike lanes on Washington Street.
